Online booking system and changes to borrowing of equipment

Unfortunately, we are going to have to change the way we lend out equipment to students. Put simply, our gear is not being looked after properly: DSLRs with the screen not turned back around, lens cap not on or lens down in the camera case. We have also had 2 battery chargers go missing and we are currently missing one tripod. After Christmas, you will need to leave a £10 deposit when borrowing equipment which will be returned to you once the equipment has been returned in good working order.

I can no longer just let you borrow the keys to the cupboard as we have done before. We do not have the money to replace lost or broken equipment so we have had to take these steps.

All bookings must be made via the online booking system. All equipment must be collected from Mr Welch either at the end of the day or during your normal lesson time and returned during these times too.

Thanks to all those who have taken efforts to look after, maintain and return equipment in the correct order.

The Media department have gone hi-tech!

All equipment now needs to be booked online:

You need to select from a weekday, weekday evening or weekend booking using the 'Choose' button and then the equipment you require.

You'll need to create a free account, but you'll only need to do this once.

To amend or delete your booking, log in then select where it says 'Hello...' then click 'View appointments'.
